How do I book an airport transfer?
You can book by calling us, emailing info@heathrowairporttaxilinks.co.uk, or using our online booking form. We recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance for airport transfers, though we can often accommodate same-day bookings. When booking, please provide your pickup address, destination airport and terminal, date and time, number of passengers, and flight number (for airport pickups).
What airports do you cover?
We cover every airport in the United Kingdom. Our primary focus is Heathrow Airport, which is just 15-25 minutes from our base in Slough. We also regularly serve Gatwick, Stansted, Luton, London City, Southampton, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and all other UK airports. If you can fly from it, we can get you there.
How does flight monitoring work?
When you provide your flight number at the time of booking, we use live flight tracking technology to monitor your aircraft in real time. If your flight arrives early, your driver will be there early. If your flight is delayed, your driver’s arrival time is adjusted automatically - at no extra cost. You don’t need to do anything; we take care of it all.
What is meet and greet?
Our meet and greet service means your driver will be waiting for you inside the arrivals hall holding a name board with your name on it. They will help you with your luggage and walk you to the vehicle. This is included as standard on all airport pickup bookings - there is no extra charge.
Can I book a return journey?
Absolutely! We encourage it. When you book both your outbound and return airport transfers together, you’ll receive a 10% discount on the return leg. This means your entire airport travel is arranged before you even leave home, and you’ll save money too.
How much does an airport transfer cost?
Our prices are fixed at the time of booking. The fare depends on your pickup location, the destination airport, and the vehicle type you choose. There are no meters, no surge pricing, and no hidden extras. The price we quote is the price you pay, even if there’s heavy traffic or your flight is delayed. Contact us for an instant quote.
Can I pay cash?
Yes, we accept cash payments to the driver. We also accept card payments and bank transfers. For corporate customers, we offer invoiced account facilities. Please let us know your preferred payment method when booking.
What if my flight is delayed?
Don’t worry - we monitor your flight in real time. If your flight is delayed, we automatically adjust your driver’s arrival time to match your new landing time. There is no extra charge for flight delays, no matter how long the delay. We also provide free waiting time: 45 minutes for international arrivals and 30 minutes for domestic arrivals.
Do you provide child seats?
Yes, we provide child seats free of charge. We carry rear-facing infant seats, forward-facing child seats, and booster seats. Please let us know the age and weight of your child when booking so we can have the correct seat fitted and ready for you.
What areas do you cover for pickups?
We are based in Slough and primarily cover Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, and West London for airport transfer pickups. This includes Slough, Windsor, Maidenhead, Reading, Bracknell, Beaconsfield, Gerrards Cross, High Wycombe, Staines, Egham, Uxbridge, Hounslow, Ealing, and many more areas.
