Heathrow Terminal 4
Terminal 4 is located on the southern perimeter of Heathrow Airport, separate from the central terminal area. It serves a range of airlines, many flying to the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. The terminal is smaller and quieter than Terminals 2, 3, and 5, which many passengers find more relaxing.

Terminal 4 handles flights for airlines including:
- Qatar Airways — one of the terminal's largest operators
- KLM Royal Dutch Airlines
- Air France (some services)
- Kuwait Airways, Oman Air, Royal Brunei
- China Southern, China Eastern, Hainan Airlines
- Various other carriers — always check with your airline before travelling
Drop-off and Pickup
Terminal 4 has its own dedicated drop-off and parking areas:
- Free drop-off — at the Terminal 4 Long Stay car park with shuttle bus
- Paid forecourt drop-off — directly outside the terminal, approximately £5 for up to 10 minutes
- Short stay parking — adjacent to the terminal with a short walk

Getting to Terminal 4
Terminal 4's southern location means it is accessed differently from the other terminals. From the M25, take Junction 14 for the southern perimeter road. From the M4, you pass through the central tunnel and follow signs to T4. Some routes:
- Staines — 8-12 minutes (closest major town to T4)
- Feltham — 8-12 minutes
- Egham — 12-18 minutes
- Bracknell — 25-35 minutes
- Basingstoke — 35-45 minutes

- Shopping — World Duty Free and a selection of retail outlets
- Dining — Pret A Manger, Yo! Sushi, Caffè Nero, and other options
- Lounges — SkyTeam Lounge, Plaza Premium Lounge
- Elizabeth Line — Terminal 4 has its own Elizabeth Line station for rail connections
